Michael Kosty is a Partner and Co-Founder at Bregal Sagemount, where he sits on the firm's Flagship, Basecamp, and Credit investment committees. He is focused on originating and underwriting investments in the infrastructure, security, logistics, technology, and software sectors. Michael has led the firm's investments in founder-run companies including Bradford Airport Logistics, Conductor, Connectria, Critical Start, GPS Insight, Kiteworks, NMI, Options IT, and RDX.
Michael began his career as an investment professional in Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s Americas Special Situations Group where he led equity investments in middle-market growth companies including AFS Technologies, Amber Road, BRM, Cervalis, Datapipe, ECI, LifeLock, and ViaWest.
Originally from San Diego, Michael now lives in New York City. He received a BSBA in Finance and Accounting with honors from Georgetown University.
