Giovanni Costamagna is an Operating Partner at Bregal Sagemount, working with portfolio company leadership to accelerate growth and build the operating capability to scale.

Previously, he was a Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) US, advising private equity investors and Fortune 100 technology, media and telecom companies on growth strategy, product development, commercial excellence, M&A, and AI transformation across the US, UK, and Europe. Earlier, he was a Manager in Strategy&'s Deals practice in London, where he led pre-acquisition diligence and value creation programs.

He also brings direct operating experience in corporate development and later product management, owning the P&L and go-to-market for a ~€190M mobile data portfolio at Vodafone, plus market entry acceleration with AUTO1 Group, a fast-growing German tech company.

Giovanni holds an MBA from London Business School and an MEng from Politecnico di Milano.
