Chirayu Rana is a Principal at Bregal Sagemount, where he is responsible for origination and underwriting investments across the software, healthcare, financial technology, business services, and consumer services sectors.

Prior to joining Bregal Sagemount, Chirayu was a Vice President at JPMorgan, where he focused on originating, structuring, and underwriting sponsor-backed credit opportunities within the software and technology sectors. Previously, he was an investment professional at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, responsible for underwriting, executing, and monitoring private credit investments. Earlier in his career, Chirayu served as an Associate in the Strategic Credit Solutions Group at The Carlyle Group, and as an Analyst / Associate in the M&A Group at Credit Suisse based in New York.

Chirayu earned his B.S. in Finance from the Rutgers Business School at Rutgers University.
